Interested In Applying for IBPA Membership? Here’s How…
Thank you for your interest in IBPA (formerly known as NBPA)! If you complete the form below it will notify us that you are interested in applying for membership. After we receive your inquiry, we’ll review your business website to determine if you’ve met IBPA’s minimum requirements (described below). There are two member categories for prospective businesses to join under 1) Premier Baby Planners 2) Associate Baby Planners. Please see a brief description of each below. During your personal interview, we will determine which category may best serve your company’s purpose.
If you meet the minimum requirements then you will be asked to complete IBPA’s application forms for our review. Please allow 3-4 weeks for your application to be finalized.
The following minimum criteria must be met for all businesses:
Premier Baby Planning Members:
- Baby Planning is clearly the primary focus of your business encompassing at least 85% or greater as depicted on your website
- You have a professional website with company logo, at minimum you have a description of your services and contact information
- Baby Gear consulting (the cornerstone baby planning service) must be offered
- At least 3 additional baby planning type services offered
- In-Home (Office) consultation must be made available
Associate Baby Planning Members:
- Baby Planning services must be offered though may not be the primary business focus
- “Baby Planning” is clearly indicated on your website
- Baby Gear consulting must be offered in addition to at least two other baby planning type services
- In-Home (office) services must be made available
Note: IBPA reserves the right to review your website/company information and accept or decline your application based on the professional standards we’ve set.
